Biography
Gaetan is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at ECARES, Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM), part of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, in Belgium. He is working under the direction of Professor Bruno van Pottelsberghe. Gaétan was a visiting scholar at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France (Jan/Apr 2009) and went at the European Patent Office in Munich, Germany (2006-2007). He holds a BA and a MSc in Management Sciences from the SBS-EM.
Research interests
Gaétan's research interests include - but are not limited to - the patent explosion, the propensity to patent, the price elasticity of patents, and the measurement of productivity of research input with patent data.
